Ian Soundy

Ian has been in the business for over twenty five years. He spent the best part of a decade in summer rep at Frinton on Sea in the nineties doing a different show every week. Ian trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His TV credits include; ‘Brushstrokes’, ‘Eastenders’, ‘London’s Burning’, ‘Red Dwarf’, understudying in the west end and many training videos for HMRC, Southend-on-Sea.

Ian worked with Eric Chappell when he produced and performed in the first professional production of 'We’re Strangers Here’, which was the precursor to the hit TV show, ‘Duty Free’. Most recently Ian starred in Chappell’s thriller ‘Dead Reckoning’ at the Guildhall, Grantham and in ‘Passing Strangers’ at Harlow Playhouse.

 
Sally Lawrence

Sally Lawrence has theatrical and broadcasting experience of over 20 years. She has broadcast for Channel 4, BBC 1 and 2, delivered traffic reports from the sky and presented health, leisure and consumer programmes for local BBC radio stations, as well as commercial stations. Sally has also recorded many voiceovers. She has recently toured with a TIE company across Essex, Greater London and Surrey playing the part of a battered wife. Sally has experience in single camera, multi camera, switch and open talk back and auto cue. She has presented and acted in many short films for the BBC and Independent Production Companies. Sally has recently returned from a successful tour of Passing Strangers, a new comedy from the pen of Eric Chappell. Sally has also been filming with IceniTV on a MumsNet project.

 
Rob McElwee

Broadcasting career to date:
First on air 1991 and continually since. Professionally a broadcaster and script-writer on BBC TV and radio, local, national and international from BBC TV Centre London. Regular in all weather slots since, most recently “The Ten”.
Distinctive voice and style - not as you would imagine a “Weatherman” and of course able to convey the complex in an everyday way. Meteorological expert on site: Appearances on subject; Newsnight, One, Six and Ten O’clock News, BBC News Channel. Short films: The Weather Show - Eddie Stobart, Walking in the Chilterns
Appearances as “celebrity”; Blue Peter, Clothes Show Live, (in the suave days)

George Kemp

George Kemp is a young and exciting artist – he has recently spent a season at the National Youth Theatre. Since then he has been working in a variety of projects for Victim Support and performed with the TIE Company Outloud Productions and has enjoyed facilitating drama workshops in secondary schools in London, Essex and Middlesex. Standing 6 foot 2 inches tall with a head of auburn hair he cuts an imposing figure on stage and in film. He has a RP accent with a deep and rich sound. He has a strong singing voice. George is currently on tour with Eric Chappell’s thriller Dead Reckoning, playing the lead part of Todd the sinister visitor . Todd, fresh-faced, upbeat, with an engaging grin, was given a chilling edge of menace in a stunning performance by George Kemp Review by Michael Gray.  He will be in Edinburgh in August.

 
Rachel Stoneley

Rachel trained at the London School of Dramatic Art and has also undertaken additional training in method acting at ‘Brian Timoney’s Actors Studio’ and in classical acting with ‘The Principle Theatre Company’. Theatre credits include the title role in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and the lead role in ‘A little Princess’ (M & M productions), Jill in ‘Equus’ (Soho theatre), Arcita/Chaucer in ‘The Canterbury Tales’ (Battersea Arts centre) and Princess Lovely in ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ (Outloud Productions). She is a young, versatile actress with great emotional depth, excellent comic timing and a good ear for accents. Her natural accent is Essex.

 
John Frost

John Frost is a young actor who has the ability to mimic and improvise easily. He is extremely talented at off the cuff delivery and this is regularly demonstrated in his work with Quirkish Delight.   He has recently played the gritty part of a young man involved in knife crime; this production has toured schools across Essex, Herts, Surrey and Greater London to high acclaim.  He enjoyed working with Russell Kane in Fakespeare at Edinburgh. Currently John is on tour in Eric Chappell’s thriller, Dead Reckoning playing the part of Slater an ex convict on a mission. John is 5 foot 6 and has an urban look with a hidden softness. He has a gentle tone to his voice which he easily changes to take on other characters.  His natural accent is an Essex accent. He has excellent comic timing. John is due to play the lead in The Mummy at the Southend Fringe and will be appearing in Edinburgh in August.

 
Bea Mitchell

Bea Mitchell is a young and attractive actress who has a powerful stage presence, the camera loves Bea and she is easy to photograph. She has a clear and strong voice with a RP accent. She is refined and has excellent posture and a good singing voice. Bea has the ability to look much younger than her 23 years and shows a vulnerability in her portrayal of young girls which is extremely convincing.

 
Peter Jones

Peter has been acting for many years, most recently with the Third Edge Company playing the long suffering Chief Inspector responsible for investigating many foul and murderous deeds. He enjoyed acclaim in Third Edge's production of The Importance of Being Earnest as the delightful Jack Worthing.
He recently put his knowledge of bargain hunt to the test with role play work at BBC Bristol.
Peter is the author of the self-help book "How to Do Everything and Be Happy."
His playing age is 35 and over. He has a strong, calm voice with an Essex twang. Standing just over six feet tall and of medium build.

 

Neil Patrick

An East 15 Acting School trained character actor, Neil’s credits are many and varied.  He appeared as Lt Harrison in the Oscar nominated Bollywood epic “Lagaan” as well as as love interest Edgar in Samuel Dores touching short film “Chasing Cotton Clouds”.  Equally at home on the stage, Neil recently brought to life the character of Finbar Mack in Conor McPherson’s tragi-comedy “The Weir” as well as the long suffering Bill In “An Evening with Gary Lineker” by Arthur Smith and Nick Hancock.  Neil is also a highly accomplished vocalist and has performed in numerous production shows on land and sea as well as a cameo appearance for BBC Science in the documentary “Vanessa Mae – The Making of Me.”

 
Caitlin Hughes

Since graduating ArtsEd drama school, Caitlin has performed with the LOST theatre as Miss Bourne in 'The Ghost Train'. She has also worked in short films for London Metropolitan University and the London Film School. She had the chance to sing, dance and use her comedy skills when touring with 'Jack and the Beanstalk' pantomime. Caitlin also regularly performs and writes with her own original comedy group 'Anacronym'.  Caitlin is a versatile actress with a big stage presence, a strong singing voice, an ability to improvise dramatically and comically, and a talent for accents. Caitlin is 5'8" with a curvy plus size figure.
